Old Mill Arboretum

Old Mill Arboretum is a neighborhood garden in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We love giving garden tours, and we love sharing information and resources about native plants, landscaping, and aquascaping. We primarily communicate events and information on instagram @oldmillarboretum

What we are: -A 1/2 acre residential garden with over 4,000 Indiana native plants and 400 species  -The house with that wooden fence arch thing (a dead hedge)

What offer: -Free walkthroughs or tours (we've welcomed school groups, master gardener groups, and more) -Occasional open houses and fundraising events -Help designing yards and wildlife ponds -Help figuring out what plants to buy, and how many you need -Help purchasing plants for your yard at wholesale prices -Help finding uncommon natives -Occasional pop up plant sales at events around the area

What we aren't: -A plant nursery; locally, we recommend (in alphabetical order) Chapman Lake Nursery, Forage Gardens, Riverview Native Nursey, and Sanctuary Native Nursery -A full service landscaping company that can install plants, ponds, and hardscaping; locally, we recommend (in alphabetical order) Rozelle Lawn and Landscape and Sanctuary Native Landscapes
